A Very Scary Precedent

I am a business and real estate lawyer in Brown County, Wisconsin, but I am sometimes compelled to talk about things going on outside of Green Bay.  You may have heard about the government of Cypress confiscating money from the bank accounts of its citizens.  This is truly frightening.  You may think "It can't happen here", but some in our government are already talking about "buying" (translation: confiscating) our retirement accounts and pensions.  Private property rights are vital to freedom, and your money is property, just like land or your vehicle.  If the government can take your property at its whim, we will cease to be a free people, and I am afraid to think about what will happen to the private sector and our economy. Remember, stay vigilant and stay informed.
